Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley designed the par-72 routing, which opened in 2000. From its back tees it reaches 7,442 yards; five other tee sets offer choices for different players.
Playing the Legends
The operator describes a scenic route through the hills with a links-style feel, generous fairways and undulating greens. Those features distinguish it from the Champions course at the same 36-hole facility. The separate Legends scorecard helps players select a tee for this course rather than carrying over numbers from the other layout.
Practice and visiting
Both Tukwet Canyon courses share a double-ended 420-yard driving range, two large putting greens and two chipping greens. The club offers public tee times, lessons and memberships. Players can reserve a Legends round through the operator and find the golf club at 36211 Champions Drive.
