Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley designed the par-72 course, which opened in 2000. Its back tees stretch to 7,377 yards, while five other tee sets offer shorter routes through the same holes.
Playing the Champions
The operator presents the Champions as an 18-hole championship test for different skill levels. It has hosted qualifying and championship events as part of the club’s wider tournament program. Players can use its own scorecard to choose a tee; the neighboring Legends course has a different routing and scorecard.
Practice and visiting
Tukwet Canyon has a double-ended driving range that extends 420 yards, two large putting greens and two chipping greens. Public tee times, instruction and memberships are available through the club. The entrance is at 36211 Champions Drive in Beaumont.
