Course guide
The maintained course record, presented separately from live booking and user reviews.
Rees Jones designed the eighteen-hole layout to follow the natural contours of the land; Greg Muirhead also contributed to its design. Views reach toward Black Mountain and the Del Mar coast from a course framed by native Southern California grassland.
The club describes fairways set into the existing terrain and bent-grass greens. Jones and the landscape team used a restrained planting plan around the playing corridors. The club’s 2026 course renovation focuses on drainage, bunkers and course infrastructure. Its renovation page carries progress updates as the work proceeds.
The course belongs to a private club, and golf access is through membership or an eligible member-arranged visit. The clubhouse is at 8170 Caminito Santaluz East, San Diego, and the club’s main number is (858) 759-3120. Members and guests should use the club’s current golf communications to plan play around renovation work.
