Course description

The maintained course record, presented separately from live booking and user reviews.

Ted Robinson designed it in 1963 among the community’s lakes and low desert buildings. The club maintains Poa trivialis turf and bentgrass greens, and its hole tour shows how water, bunkers and sloping putting surfaces give the short layout variety.

Holes to know

The opening par 4 leads to a false-front green. The fourth is the longest par 3 and brings water into play, while the eighth follows a lake. The twelfth climbs to the course’s largest green. At the short fourteenth, only 85 yards separate the tee from a green guarded by a lake. Water returns on the closing hole. Dwight D. Eisenhower scored a hole-in-one here on February 6, 1968, according to his post-presidential papers.

Access and preparation

The club publishes a full hole-by-hole tour, which is useful for choosing clubs on a course where a short hole can still demand a precise carry or angle. Members of other country clubs and USGA members may request tee times through the golf shop up to seven days ahead. Confirm guest eligibility and availability before visiting the private community at 1 Desert Lakes Drive.
