It is the community’s historic Max Behr layout, distinct from other private clubs in Rancho Santa Fe.
The USGA course rating database lists the men’s Black tees for this 18-hole, par-72 layout at 7,090 yards, with a 75.2 course rating and 140 slope. These structured figures all refer to the same named tee.
The Rancho Santa Fe Association lists the golf shop as closed Mondays, open Tuesday through Friday 7 a.m.–6 p.m. and weekends 6:30 a.m.–6 p.m. These are shop hours; check directly for course play arrangements.
Behr’s par-72 course opened in 1929. The club hosted the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship in 2006. Its 18-hole course underwent a major renovation in 2021–22; subsequent master-plan work focused on the practice areas. The club describes the present routing as walkable and shaped by the site’s natural contours.
