Overview
Golf opened on the property in 1963. Members established the member-owned club in 1976, and architect Todd Eckenrode completed a full course renovation in 2018.
Design and playing the course
The renovated routing uses rolling ground, a creek along much of the front nine, bunkers and varied green contours. The course tour describes a downhill dogleg opener, a reachable second-hole par 5 with a new green, and a long seventeenth played into the wind beside a lake. Its eighteenth calls for an accurate tee shot between trees and out-of-bounds before an approach to a green guarded on the right by a bunker. Tee choices span 4,983 to 7,208 yards; the men’s Tee I row is par 72, 7,208 yards, rated 75.2 with a 137 slope.
