Course guide
The maintained course record, presented separately from live booking and user reviews.
The operator’s Blue holes total 3,914 yards; the USGA rates those Blue tees 60.1/100. Ted Robinson Sr. designed this compact layout around tight fairways, elevated greens and water. Robinson called it “The Little Monster,” a fitting name for a course that asks for accurate tee shots and careful approaches despite its short overall length.
The operator’s hole tour shows how the challenges change from one hole to the next. The fourth green sits beyond a narrow approach. Water shapes the tee shot on the seventh and the carry into the ninth. The tenth can play into the wind, while bunkers, rather than a forced water carry, defend the seventeenth. Palm trees and the Santa Rosa Mountains give the walk a clear desert setting.
The club has a driving range, putting green and dedicated pitching and chipping areas. Golf is arranged through club membership or eligible renter access, so visitors should confirm playing privileges with the club or their host. The course is part of the wider Chaparral residential community in Palm Desert.
