Course description
The maintained course record, presented separately from live booking and user reviews.
Alta Vista Country Club is an active private 18-hole club in Placentia. The club’s golf and tournaments page describes a par-72 course and says it holds open public tournaments on Mondays; ordinary golf access is through membership and club guest policies.
Playing information
The club’s front-nine scorecard and back-nine scorecard list the men’s Black tees at 6,559 yards, par 72, with a course rating of 71.4 and slope of 130. A separate SCGA directory record gives 6,529 yards for its Black row with the same rating and slope; this listing follows the club’s scorecard yardage.
The club website credits Harry Rainville with the course design. The American Society of Golf Course Architects lists Alta Vista among David Rainville’s remodeled courses; the design credit shown here follows the club’s original-design account.
