Alondra Park’s regulation course is the full-length option at Los Angeles County’s 36-hole Lawndale golf facility. The operator’s course overview identifies an 18-hole, par-72 layout designed by William Bell and William Johnson, opened in 1947. A separate 18-hole par-3 course shares the site; select the regulation course when booking if you want a conventional round.

Playing the regulation course

The main course measures 6,445 yards and carries a 70.0 course rating and 118 slope in the operator’s published figures. Its mostly level ground makes walking practical, while the emphasis is on choosing a line from the tee and hitting the next shot from a good position. The absence of major elevation changes makes club selection more straightforward than at many hill courses. The separate short course gives players a way to practice approach shots without committing to a second regulation round.

That makes the regulation course a useful choice for golfers who prefer to work on tee-to-green consistency without repeated forced carries.
